7. FSU didn't have its best and most important player

QB Jordan Travis, his backup who decided to transfer before the game, it’s top running back, either of its top receivers, its starting tight end or multiple defensive starters. Georgia probably would have won if those players had played, but we can’t draw any conclusions about FSU from this game. Just like we can’t draw any conclusions about Ohio State losing yesterday after its QB transferred before the bowl game and it’s best player decided he didn’t want to play the game.

What we can conclude is that the current incarnation of college football is broken. These players get a free education, some get paid to play, and then they leave the team because the rules allow that.
