But why is it some fans can't stand the idea of rebuilding to the point where they create delusions around their team. For example I'm a jets fan and I hear a lot of "fans" talking about this season as if it was a failure. Saying the jets were playoff bound as much as it pains me to say the jets weren't talented enough to make a playoff push. The fact that the team has a chance after the final game to finish 8-8 while beating some fairly decent teams is an accomplishment considering there was a distinct lack of offensive talent and starting a qb who didn't play a pro offense. Anyway rant over
