That is their "religion." It's hardly ever about helping people adjust, reframe, or get well. Feeling less disenfranchised, afraid, or abandoned now? Why do a lot social service workers burn out again?

Matt 6:24 - No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Doesn't matter, secular or religious, even providers are plagued with the systemic "black and white" thinking about who or what is "correct" and must guide according to conscience, which usually ends by walking away in favor of self's occupational goals.
