5. I was presented with the gift of Eastern Orthodox Christianity at birth actually.

I was offered it, never any coercion, insistence, guilt tripping. I embrace this Tradition of Faith to this day. Hardly having perfected practicing it. There's still much to learn. Ongoing epiphanies. I'm still 'in the world'. The main gift given is salvation. Then you're not left high and dry, a target for the Evil One to pummel you. Repentance is the remedial gift. Orthodox on their journey practice 'theosis'. Not 'becoming' God as the enemy of our souls transitioned to, but becoming *LIKE* God throughout our mortal existence.
