I really enjoy reading about archeological studies like this. After my first semester in college I was on the fence between Geology and Archeology (Geology won at the time). I think it would have been really fun to have studied the development and construction of the Viking Longships. Perhaps even building some, using the same techniques the Norse used back then.

Thanks for posting this Icymist. Unfortunately I now have to crawl back into my little dark cave. This summer has been murder on my migraines.
