Who are the lucky ones? Grammy Hannie would often say this.

So much loss - but even though he brought to life 7K souls, he made the universe shine so bright. I'm glad he made a choice to research and write about his experience in Latvia during the Holocaust.

And note - That's what a husband's and father's love looks like. It's real.
