1. Banded krait.

The banded krait is a similar story. In daylight hours, it's quite passive and tolerates being picked up and handled. Not so much at night, when it can get more aggressive. It rarely bites humans, which is fortunate because the krait is a close relative of the cobra, with potent venom.
