science classes by discussing this planetary alignment. And he'd fool with them, telling them that a magnetic field caused by this alignment would pull the Earth apart. And it would happen the next year. And the kids bought it. They'd be thinking their lives would be over before they could get their drivers licenses, etc.

Yeah, kinda cruel, but they never cut class and remembered nearly everything he told them.
