1. They're a constant problem in goat populations

All you can do is worm regularly to keep the population as low as possible. But goats get them from eating infected pasture. They go to the stomach and suck blood to make the goats anemic. I worm our goats twice a year--more if we start seeing diarrhea. Also called barber pole worms.
