Politics and religion are applied psychosociology.

The brain puts together fragmentary data into perceptions that fit things that are expected (for example by grieving family members). Generative AI works by taking fragmentary data (suggestion, prompts) and makes an image that if run through the other way would generate the prompt.

In the 1700s there were visitations by incubi and succubi. By the 1950s that had become aliens (ETs) probing because incubi and succubi were no longer part of storytelling and fabulism but flying saucers were.
