i.e., the Cruise performance during the El Ron birthday party in "Going Clear." When David Miscarriage was awarding Cruise "$cientology's highest medal." I need to watch that documentary again.
Travolta's appearance in his "soldier suit" reminded me of one thing - his awesome $cientology superpowers haven't helped him one bit when it comes to doing a Southern accent. He can't do that accent and shouldn't even try - he doesn't sound Southern, he sounds like a drunk and possibly brain-damaged dope from New Jersey. (I think those clips were shot during the making of "The General's Daughter."
I was hoping for more clips from "Battlefield Earth." Which at least did one service for humanity - it consumed a huge chunk of Travolta's personal fortune which he can't spend to promote $cientology.
The production company knew that "B.E." would be a giant gobbling space turkey, and wisely insisted that Travolta put his own money into it.
