Never thought of it that way, but it fits with what I have been saying for years to those who ask how I can get by without religious faith.
I say that either: 1) there is no divine creator so discussion is unnecessary; 2) there is a god and he is sane so I will go to heaven, or; 3) there is a mean, spiteful god who will send me to hell but at least I will be among friends.
