Bereavement

I'm glad you still have your Dad and hope you can get closer. I saw something somewhere that said a father is a boy's first hero and a girl's first love. Mine was both, for me. He called me his little burr, because I practically followed every step he made. Thinking of him on special days like Father's Day still feels like an elephant standing on my chest .. I hope some day to get past that to only remembering the good things, that will be a huge relief.
