kind of an open wound at the moment. Just attended services this afternoon for a friend/coworker of 25 years who battled PTSD from the war in Iraq/Afghanistan. It won in the end. He was part of the Reserve Forces who fought over there. He wrote the curriculum and I built the lessons for the Distance Learning for Reserves and National Guard. We did this both in purely distance learning mode and in facilitated learning environments. It's hard to believe he's gone. He was only four years younger than me. As a veteran myself, I can't bring myself to listen to this right now. Not enough kleenex, I'm afraid. The heart aches too much tonight.
