I buy the most basic frozen cheese pizza, then embellish it with whatever I'm in the mood for.
Usually fresh tomatoes, onions from my garden, slices of ham, mushrooms, and an assortment of brick cheese slices.
New home has a $2,000 propane gas stove/oven - works great!
Funny thing that, about the gas range -
when I was preparing to buy the place, owner told me oven didn't work, I loved the place, so said no biggee.
However, when I took a peek at the oven, it looked brand new!
I turned the control knob for the oven, waited a few seconds, nothing happened.
I thought maybe they just didn't know how to light the pilot, or it had blown out.
So I pulled out the bottom drawer, sure enough pilot was not going.
BTW, bottom drawer is a BROILER not a drawer, it too had never been used.
Anyways, pilot failed to light.
Being a curious old mechanic, I downloaded the manual for the gas range,
Voila! - the "pilot" is a small electric element, takes upwards of 45 seconds for it to heat up -
Turned the control back on, 1 minute later -
"woooof!" burners in the oven fired up.
Oven works perfect!
and it's purty . . .
