1. I think this is a much better approach than much of what I've seen in the psychological profession..

...I for one have never been in love with the common Freudian style talk-therapy and this strikes me as the complete opposite of that. The goal here is to not so much as better engage self but to let go of self and simply accept things with love and compassion rather than desire and satiation.
