In reply to the discussion: Dear Election Concern Trolls; [View all]LiberalLovinLug
(14,525 posts)But I joined in 2003 out of CONCERN for the US that it was going down a dark road. If nothing else to vent about it. I found this place from following Bartcop. It was like a haven of more liberal voices who I could share my concerns with.
It just seems counterproductive to brand those new members that come here and happen to raise concerns, and share their worries in what they thought was a place they could do that, instead are ostrizised and even banned. I highly doubt there are enough paid 'concern trolls' to ever be concerned about it in here.
I think there is too much paranoia on both sides at this late stage. We have to put up with the anxiety for another week. Some are overly worried about Nov. 9th, some are overly reactive to those that are worried in assuming they must be working for the other side to cause dissention. I hate to think there were young/new DUers that have been turfed out of here for simply expressing their worry and then branded swiftly as "trolls".
