This has been a persistent problem for almost a week, and it is impacting my morning ritual negatively. It just came out of the blue. It also started happening on my MacBook Pro, but seems to have settled back into the “classic” format.

If your diagnosis is correct, I wish the admins would address it. I have tried using the “ask the Administrators” page twice and haven’t heard back. Maybe I’ll try emptying the cache.
