7. LOL, It's instinct. If the gun guy was........

seriously trained, e.g.. military combat experience, the guy would have been shot but if you handle a gun in serious circumstances infrequently your natural instinct is to raise your arm the defend against the blow. Do what is least expected. The gun guy figured pointing the gun was enough and surprised when it wasn't. I do have to say the chair guy was lucky.

Disclosure: I do own handguns...do I feel a need to carry one with me?...No.
