Sexual Assault Survivors Support

Right-wing religion creates a rape culture. I was raped in high school, and I attended a conservative Catholic high school. I find the news really triggering and think Kavanaugh is a creep who came out of this culture. Sex is so secretive that raping someone is "scoring". Then everyone gossips about it and blames you. I blame the Catholic culture for my rape, and the fact that people know it happened and still befriend the rapist on Facebook.

Getting out of the church helped me. Hell, everything about my high school gives me flashbacks. I hate the culture that these people created. It's sickening to think that a product of that will be on the Supreme Court.
