On a personal note regarding Inherent the Wind, I've visited the old courthouse in Dayton TN where the "Scopes Monkey Trial" was held in 1925. There is a statue of William Jennings Bryan out front (Frederich March character) and a very good tiny museum of the trial in the basement.
