22. Before replying, I must point out that my list of favorites is different from my "best of" list.

I have to acknowledge that The Godfather is a better movie than any of the ones I've listed, but I've seen it many times and can't watch it unless I'm in a mood. The movies below, I can pretty much watch anytime.

In no particular order:

Pulp Fiction
The Princess Bride
The Fifth Element
Serenity (2005)
The Third Man
The Day the Earth Stood Still (1951)
The Blues Brothers
The Manchurian Candidate (1962)
1776 (a guilty pleasure)
Forbidden Planet (see my name)
