5. I've thought about this for some time as well

And have long concluded that some kind of cooperative living makes sense. I used to joke that my retirement plan had only two viable options: a nunnery or a Canadian women's prison (which are bit more civil than the American ones.) Both options, of course, have their pluses and minuses.

But at some point, I came across this website and occasionally check in there. You might find it useful:
