They are a threat to their paychecks but it isn't anything unusual.

I watch a lot of Mercury games and you see teams hate each other and sometimes have to be separeted even after the game is over and these are games that don't have anything to do with Caitlin Clark.

The WNBA is more focused on social justice issues much more than other sports leagues and have a lot of LGBT players. I think the resentment is toward a lot of fans who are only interested in the sport when Caitlin Clark is playing and I think it is something the fans are not used to as WNBA games can be very physical & confrontational.

Caitlin Clark will be a great player in the league and maybe even win multiple championships & gold medals but there are already a ton of super talented players that already existed in the game and they had to survive physical match-ups like Clark.
