He said that we should “Ask the right questions”. He went on to say that when he is interviewed on TV – the interviewers ask leading questions to illicit the response that they want – then they say to him ‘why don’t you answer the question’. He tells them that they didn’t ask the right question.


He never did suffer fools gladly, he's gone off on more than one reporter for asking leading questions.

And this part is why he's so hugely popular, he doesn't talk down to his audience and he's genuine:

One other observation - never once in his talk did he say 'Believe Me', 'Tremendous', or 'Great'. He didn't embellish anything. He told it to us like it is. He had notes to hit his high points - but the talk was an hour and a half of talking without a teleprompter and he actually made sense. Not double talk and lies like we hear from Trump.
