And if it is, it actually proves the opposite of the point you seem to be trying to make:

Fall of 2016, we ran a bland centrist there-we lost by 20 points.

In the special election, we ran a progressive and only lost by about five points.

There's no reason whatsoever to think we'd have won if only we'd nominated a "pro-business&quot i.e. conservative) Dem.
