All you would need to do is include the word "snip" between the third and fourth paragraphs. It's a simple fix to let readers know that you omitted material in the article without having to go to the link.

While your concern is complying with the four paragraph rule on DU, altering the original text of an article to select specific sentences changes the context of the article and would be admonished in an academic setting.

Would you like it if someone parsed something that you wrote to cherry pick selected sentences, but presented it as your original piece of work? I doubt it, so show respect to the author instead of writing a compilation that is not properly attributed.
