under *rump of abandoning the greatest alliance in human history for the warm embrace of Putin's Russia, should it all hit the fan, China may positioning itself to fill that vacuum.

They will more likely be viewed for the "rule of international law," and respect for the Hague just as we thumb our nose at it, and if we follow *rump's insane path to invade Canada, Denmark or Greenland, I believe China might turn on Russia, because there is a lot more land and resources there than in Taiwan.
