First, this professor is using a lot of rhetoric he has to in order to get any information out about what a mess war is, even with modern precision guided bombs. There is always a lot of damage that should never have happened, kids killed who should have been able to grow up. It's why war should be avoided if possible. Pro Israel people should ignore his jargon and concentrate on that. Of course, Israelis are facing much the same thing as Iran's missiles are targeting cities, not military installations.
Second, he's lkely telling the truth about national unity. There is nothing like an external threat to get people to rally around even the worst governments in the world. It's why I've been so frustrated by Republican war hawks screeching about war against Iran, every screech put off the collapse of what is now a very unpopular regime by years. Stupid asses.
Third, there has been so much blustering and posturing from the Iranians ever since Kin Slug threw out Obama's nuclear treaty with them that nobody really knows what's going on or what their capabilities really are. It's only when the IAEA suits up and inspects what's left of the deep storage of enriched uranium that we'll know if it was weapons grade or not. If so, Israel will have been justified. If not, maybe Netanyahu will be gone in deep disgrace at long last.
Lastly, short term, am I really agreeing with anything Fucker Carlson is saying? Well, yes: Republican politicians are profoundly ignorant. No argument there.
