A procedural vote in the U.S. House of Representatives to advance President Donald Trump’s “Big Beautiful Bill” is on the verge of failure after four Republican lawmakers opposed the measure late Wednesday night.

Representatives Andrew Clyde of Georgia, Victoria Spartz of Indiana, Keith Self of Texas and Brian Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania cast “no” votes, leaving supporters with 216 votes—one short of the 217 needed to move the legislation forward under the current House roster.
