6. Trump was not an entertainer

He was a prop.

I caught a short segment of The Apprentice inadvertently a few years back, and realized that even when he was hosting the show, he was wooden and his lines were as simple as they could make them, since he struggled with them even with a teleprompter. This should have been a clue to his mental acuity even back then.

Colbert could make a good president. He has an exceptional grasp on both domestic and international politics, he has a high degree of integrity, he has name recognition, and in general is unafraid of a fight. I could actually see Colbert and Tim Walz on the same ticket - they are both highly intelligent while at the same time coming across as down to earth and wickedly funny. Having a sense of humour is important, because it usually indicates that you have a very healthy perspective on life.
