The least effective and dangerous method? Totally unsurprising though sickening.

There are 6,000 truck loads of aid waiting right outside the border that the UN has been begging to be let in that Israel has refused.

Yesterday Israel claimed to have let in 950 truckloads and claims the "UN refuses to deliver it". A big whopping lie, or as a UN official said, "a theater of the absurd". The UN is trying but faces the same old obstacles. For one thing their main aid hub with trucks, personnel, and warehouses has been bombed and is located in a city that Israel a few days ago decided, by some cosmic coincidence of timing to invade and attack. The last city with any aid infrastructure left. For another, yesterday Israel refused half of the UN's requests to pick up aid and imposed byzantine approval requirements for those it did approve - as usual. Last Sunday the IDF killed many dozens of starving aid seekers who approached the UN trucks. It's dangerous for the humanitarians and the starving, deliberately made so.

To intentionally starve people is genocidal. Not just because it kills people and in an especially cruel way, but also because it breaks an entire society. The circumstances of living in a famine lead to trauma, shame, silence and physical, mental and developmental stunting for generations. Israel will also pay for this for generations.
