United Nations will begin delivering increased humanitarian aid to Gaza on Sunday - DW News [View all]

After two brutal years of war, a ceasefire is now holding in Gaza. Israeli troops have begun to partially withdraw from the territory, and the United Nations will resume delivering desperately needed food and medicine on Sunday.

Hundreds of thousands of displaced Palestinians are on the move again, hoping to resume their lives in their former homes. While there is hope that the killing and hunger crisis are ending, there is also dismay at the scale of the destruction. Around 80% of Gaza's buildings have been destroyed. - Aired on 10/10/2025.
