is that we have low probability of winning, or even having , an election. i can even imagine trump's head in a jar futurama style 1000 years from now.

as bad as a coup would be, we would have more influence over a general or a junta , educated rational men with an ethos of service, than we have over the trump cult. the coup might actually be the easiest way out of this.
