I was conducting an Assist Visit (not an inspection) of a subordinate command. I was auditing a young Sailors paper work. It just wasn’t adding up. He was squirming a little and told me he had only been in the job for two years. I guess he was blaming someone else while auditioning for a post in a future Republican administration.
