2. Our mistake was not realizing a good part of the racism and sexism came from inside the house.

The working class voters who switched or stayed home do not want change. They want to satisfy their racism and sexism, whether or not they acknowledge to themselves that that racism and sexism exist within them.

I'm not saying the platform can't always be improved. But I'm saying if we run a middle-aged, white, protestant straight man and we don't change a letter of the platform, we will win.
