Our two closest cousins are Chimps and Bonobos.

Chimp society is male-dominated, aggressive, regimented, hierarchical, males largely control sex/reproduction, little homosexuality, etc.

Bonobos are female-dominated, much less aggressive, much less hierarchal, MUCH more sexually free, sex is done for pleasure, bisexual contact is the norm, etc.

We humans have the genetic makeup of both species to varying degrees.

But their expression has little to do with 'race', and especially not with arbitrary shit like 'religion' and 'what country you're from'.

These are simply two dominant paradigms for humanity based on our animal heritage, and everyone has some mixture of the two ways of thinking and living.

And when I'm gone, and some of you are still around, and my little theory actually becomes a common and accepted explanation ... remember Mr L told you first.

So yeah, they are pretty much the same thing.
