When it became clear that he takes more votes from Trump he dropped out and endeavored to get his name off swing state ballots. He didn't care about solid blue or red states because he knows he won't make a difference there -- but he could make a tiny, but significant difference where things are close. As will the that evil asshole Jill Stein.
