And if you believe that I am wrong, show me the data that says that engaging in political discourse with right wingers converts into votes.

Now, I'm not to saying that we shouldn't engage with Republican voters directly. We should. We definitely should, but engaging in debates with avowed MAGA types is a waste of time and does not translate into votes.

The focus should be on non-voters and the base.
