Sure, many of them are just fools, but many calculate their future as being a part of his team. Without their compliance, they believe they have nothing. So, they feel they are better off supporting him, regardless of the cost to the nation.
The Republicans in Congress are every bit as evil, greedy, and callous as Trump. They'll watch the nation fall to ruin as long as they believe they can rise above the ashes of what used to be a Great Nation.
