Whooda thunkit? An American-born Pope? We've NEVER had one of those before. This Pope has been long-known as a missionary, so I'm pretty happy about that, too. Born in Chicago, faithfully serving "the flock" in South America. Whooda thunkit? I do follow these things and I NEVER would have guessed the new Pope would have been born in CHICAGO. CHICAGO! How 'bout THAT!
