for sending this to me. The YT channel this is on was co-founded by James Pumphrey, an actor and influencer formerly with Donut Media - https://www.theautopian.com/james-pumphrey-is-out-at-donut-media-as-private-equity-continues-to-scare-off-talent/ - who ran across some of the same serious problems caused by generative AI that I've been warning about here, and who was able to get nearly 3/4 of a million views on YT for his warning, Fake Car Channels Are Ruining Youtube.
I'm glad he touched on other harm done by genAI as well, but the damage being done to YouTube can't be overemphasized. And all the AI slop on YouTube, besides wasting people's time and taking views away from real people posting worthwhile videos, can also be doing a lot of harm with misinformation and disinformation. This garbage should not be allowed to pollute the internet, but AI companies including those that own platforms are trying to dominate the online world.

Fake classical music, mostly from China I believe, is spoiling the span of YouTube files offering classical music audio.

That's the problem with needing content and depending on third parties to deliver it. Like heroin addiction actually.
