the fact that he only became and outspoken in the last 10 years is significant to his apology. Most of us here have been fighting for decades - many decades. While I still resonate with the message and have apologetic feelings toward younger people, even though I know I’ve done my best, a lot of older activists bristle at the title (something I hope he’ll reconsider). The generational stuff is brutal. I think we’re all tired and heartbroken, though not beaten.
