...to send the back to their home countries, but in this case, the home countries wouldn't take them. So what should we have done with them? They shouldn't be able to stay here, they can't go back to their home countries, so what are the other options?
As to the rest of your post, I agree 100%, the way people are being snatched and disappeared right now is reprehensible and illegal, no question.
But that wasn't the case for the eight people sent to Sudan - they had their due process and were ordered deported.
