I know people who have rented from corporate owners for over a decade and now pay almost 100% more in rent than when they started. with corporates owning over 11 million homes the prices of homes are artificially higher than they should be. our system is broken and somehow someway we have to get back some sanity.

also corporate does not include appliances in many of their homes, including garbage disposal , washing machines, dryers, and many others...
