2. Regarding DEI, I like the statement that because we want and aspire to live in a free and just society,

DEI was created. So, f you do NOT WANT to live in a free and just society, let donny 2-scoops and company continue on his burning mrach of destruction.
But lest we forget, we do not live in a truly free and just society, and because the economic deck is stacked against the individual, people are not focused on DEI as a means of bettering most people. I think we might be better off focusing on the overall economic inequality espoused by rethuglicans and the robert's Supreme Court.
