...how we really need to start donating to our local PBS station (WETA), as we watch a lot of their content, especially since they'll probably lose funding.

I went up to their site to take a look at their federal non-profit return because I was curious about how much they get from the government. Shows ~$2.7 million, which is ~2% of their budget, and I'm thinking that a lot of people in this area that don't currently donate will make that up.

What surprised me though was that the CEO of the station makes over $650,000, which seems like a lot to me for a non-profit, especially since she's a Rockefeller.

But perhaps that name helps bring in donations, so it may be a wash.
