say you are wrong ...... and the results seem to support your position. I can't pretend otherwise. Add to that I can't remember if I'd ever disagreed with you over the years. This isn't the first.
If I remember correctly, it was in 1967 that Senator Eugene McCarthy noted the system often puts a practical man in place, when a philosopher is needed. The president put a practical man in. Had he appointed Mr. Smith, who has a bit of a different philosophy, a year earlier, this period could have been avoided. Some men find it practical to wait for all the evidence, others think there are times that you prepare for all potential outcomes well before you document everything. There were some of those "others" in both the FBI and DOJ.
