One would hope there are backups of those files somewhere that haven’t been destroyed. I assume anything the current administration can access has been destroyed or extensively altered. But it seems likely Epstein would have had backups beyond the copies in that safe, which Maxwell maybe knows how to find.

That would be her best life insurance policy, but this is all just conjecture, of course. I hope the truth will come out eventually, and especially that the victims will get some measure of justice.
