About that 28% Dem favorable [View all]

that the MSM is shouting about. The headline number makes the Dems seem unpopular. Well, the facts say a different story. That 28% doesn't mean the MAGAts are supported by Dems. In fact, every special and scheduled off year election has the Dems overperforming by substantial numbers. The fact that Dems are 22% more enthused to vote than the Reps says more to me.

Anybody paying attention knows that the average Democratic voter is disappointed that the elected Dems are not fighting hard enough AGAINST MAGA. I understand that being in the minority in every branch of government, the Presidency, the Senate, the House and even the Supreme Court makes opposition range from difficult to impossible.

That being said, if the Dems win at least the House and they don't take dramatic action by calling hearings and sending out subpoenas, then I will acknowledge that there is no excuse. But in the meantime, our job is to elect as many Democrats as we can. Progressive Democrats, Liberal Democrats, Moderate Democrats, it doesn't matter. Whoever is nominated deserves our support. Let's nominate Dems who best reflect their districts or state. If a candidate is going to caucus with the Dems, that's good enough for me.
